SHIRLEEN
When I first started working with Shirleen I couldn’t believe that anyone could do so much so well and still be as cheerful as she always is. She’s got an amazing mind that sees how things can run more efficiently, cheaply and better than they are. It doesn’t matter if it’s not her responsibility. If she sees a way to help, she does. “That’s not my job” isn’t in her vocabulary. That’s Shirleen.
All that she is and all that she comes from her. She didn’t have the easiest time growing up. Where many would blame the world Shirleen instead looked for ways to change her world. She seized opportunities, worked hard to move up, and remained optimistic in the face of setbacks. I’ve never met anyone who can learn and adapt the way she can.
She went from coworker to friend in a very short time. She cares so much about the people around her and offers help even when you don’t realize you need it. She thinks of ways to cheer people up when they’re having a rough time. She one of the most considerate and giving people I know. These days we don’t see each other as often as we should, but I know that if I needed anything I could call on Shirleen and she would help me figure it all out. I hope she knows I’d do the same for her.
Happy Birthday Wonderful You
