KIM 

There are people who have difficulty adjusting to the demands of motherhood, and there are those who already have everything it takes to be a kick-ass mom. Kim is positive, loyal, fiercely protective of her loved ones, sweet, sensitive, strong, fun and full of life. I met her in a mothers’ group, so I could easily see how all her talents serve her well as a mom. But as I’ve come to know her as a friend I realize how all these traits have been part of who she is long before a bouncing baby boy entered the picture. Kim cares so much for those she loves. She is so strong, in ways I don’t think she even realizes. She speaks her mind, and that honesty is one you can trust. Kim takes life as it comes, and that suits her fine.

There is a sadness as I write this, something she knows of. I am so grateful for her friendship, her willingness to support me. If I have just half of the strength she does, I know things will end up just fine.
