JOE

In a culture where thoughtless and flippant reactions seem to be the norm, it’s a refreshing to know someone who values deeper thought and lives so true to his principles.  Joe has an amazing self-clarity coupled with a strength of convictions. His is not often the popular mode of thought, but he’s able to eloquently craft compelling arguments that explain his beliefs and remain grounded in reason. His actions are deliberate, which is increasingly rare. Scattered as I am, I don’t think I would have gotten to know Joe well if we hadn’t ended up as roommates. I’m fortunate that our little Compound gave me a chance to know him as a friend.
